Roofs in Ampang: What to Know

Homes on Ampang's hillsides get heavy rain and a lot of falling leaves, two things that quickly clog gutters and roof valleys. Once water pools there, it finds its way into the ceiling. If you see damp patches or bubbling ceiling paint, send photos of your roof and ceiling on WhatsApp for an initial estimate.

Ampang sits along the hilly eastern edge of Kuala Lumpur, with a mix of bungalows and semi-detached homes, terraces, apartments and condominiums. Trees on the slopes drop plenty of leaves onto roofs, and bungalows with many roof valleys are more prone to leaks when those valleys block.
