Roofs in Sarikei: What to Know

A stained ceiling in a Sarikei shophouse or terrace home is often a sign that water has been seeping in from above for a while. Fixing it early is usually far easier than waiting for the ceiling to come down. Photograph the roof and the affected ceiling, send them on WhatsApp with your location, and we will give an initial estimate.

Sarikei is a town on the Rajang River surrounded by farmland, with shophouses in the town centre and terraces and kampung houses around it. Riverside humidity and heavy rain make gutters and roof flashing common weak points.
