Roofs in Skudai: What to Know

Many home owners in Skudai rent out their terrace houses, and the first complaint about a leaking roof usually comes from the tenant. Whether you live there yourself or manage a rental, the cause of the leak needs to be confirmed before the ceiling and wiring are affected. Ask your tenant to photograph the ceiling, add roof photos if possible, and send everything on WhatsApp.

Skudai is a suburb of Johor Bahru packed with terrace housing estates, shophouses and rental homes. Many terrace houses here were built decades ago, so their original zinc, tiles and gutters have started to weaken. Heavy afternoon rain makes water overflow in the shared gutters between linked houses.
