Roofs in Batu Pahat: What to Know

Tiles that crack or shift after strong wind are a common cause of leaks that are hard to trace from inside the house. In Batu Pahat, many terrace and shophouse owners only find out once the ceiling grows mould or the paint starts peeling. Before the damage spreads, send photos of the roof and the affected ceiling on WhatsApp so we can give you an initial estimate.

Batu Pahat is a west-coast Johor town with shophouses in the centre, terrace housing estates and many kampung houses around it. Areas close to the coast get salty air that speeds up rust on zinc and gutters. Heavy afternoon rain also tests tiles and roof joints on older houses.
