Roofs in Ranau: What to Know

Ranau's cool, misty weather is pleasant, but the damp means a small leak quickly turns into a mouldy ceiling and rotting timber. If you see water marks in a ceiling corner or on a wall, it pays to act early. Send roof and ceiling photos on WhatsApp with your location, and we will prepare an initial estimate.

Ranau is in the highlands near Mount Kinabalu, with cool, misty and frequently rainy weather. Homes here, including kampung houses and homestays, often see moss and damp on roofs and timber trusses.
